OUR SERVICES
POWDER
Unlike conventional paint, powder coatings are applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or UV light. Because of the application process, these coatings can be thicker than their liquid counterparts. These finishes are also harder and tougher than standard paint, which makes them great for a variety of applications where durability is at a premium.
Powder coating brings a number of advantages: they lack volatile organic compounds (VOCs), they are more consistent, have significantly faster curing times, and offer a wide range of specialty effects.
E-COATING
E-Coating—or electrocoating—is a specialized finishing process where an electrical current is used to charge particles suspended in water, which then coat the conductive part. During the E-Coating process, paint is applied at a very particular thickness dependent on the amount of voltage needed.
At first, E-Coated solids deposit in the areas closest to the electrode, but as the areas become more insulated to the current, more bare metal areas are covered. Electrodeposition continues until the desired thickness is achieved—which can be manipulated by increasing or decreasing the voltage level. The finished part is then cured in an oven to promote cross-linking.
CAPACITY
At Creative Coatings, we pride ourselves on our 106,000 square-feet of manufacturing space that we meticulously keep clean and organized: allowing us to better serve our customers. We don’t rest on our laurels, though, we seek continuous improvements to our shop floor, optimizing our projects and efficiency, which are reflected in our library of OEM certifications.
Our capacities feature a TTX square transfer E-coat system, 11 stage E-coat pretreatment cleaning system, Gema powder coating equipment with all needed equipment: we handle powder coating for workpieces up to 24 feet in length and our equipment can coat a wide variety of substrates. We offer assembly and specialty packaging services, metal finishing, sanding preparation, and an offline powder booth and oven for specialty jobs.
COLORS
Variety is truly the spice of life and in manufacturing, a splash of color can make a project more appealing to your customers. That’s why we offer a wide range of options; but our colorful custom coatings are also durable—standing up well to all kinds of exposure and wear.
Whether you need black, blue, brown, yellow, red, or any other color, we have the equipment and the options you need to elevate your projects. There are many variants on every color, which is why we love working with customers to identify the exact color they want for their parts and then getting to work to give them exactly what they need.
Our Support
We work closely with clients, which allows us to thoroughly understand exactly what they need us to do for their projects. We take great pride in meeting our customers, and it is this customer-oriented approach that elevates our services and our commitment to quality.
Our customer service is unrivaled—when you’re successful, we’re successful. We know that when you work with us, we’re your partners, which is why we put all the passion and care into your projects that we would put into our own.
We Can Handle Your Specialty Project
We are equipped for specialty and small-run projects. Our chemistry and quality checks are performed more frequently than industry standards, but we also have an off-line batch booth with an 8’ x 10’ x 20’ window capacity for customer crisis situations, low-volume production, and prototyping runs.
We know that our job isn’t done when the coating’s completed, though. We know that your parts need to make it back to you and your customers. That’s why we audit our on-time delivery every day and report on them weekly—never allowing our delivery to drop below 95%.
ISO Certified
As an ISO-certified shop, we are constantly seeking to improve our quality management system (QMS) to meet and exceed international standards. In gaining this certification, we labor over our rigorous processes and helping our customers improve their products.
We always seek to help our clients make better decisions, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and help them provide them with extensive knowledge and superior customer service. All these together promote consistency and increased revenue, ensuring we are up to the global standard for manufacturing.
